The new economic development corporation for the cities of Dieppe, Moncton and Riverview reveals its new brand, team and mandate.

3+ is the new economic development corporation for the cities of Dieppe, Moncton and Riverview.  3+ Corporation will leverage its new team, organizational structure, regional assets and community stakeholders to succeed at its new mandate to foster new job creation in Dieppe, Moncton and Riverview.  “3+ is the perfect name to reflect the proactive and positive can-do attitude of our 3 municipal governments and all our community stakeholders. We will use its expertise to promote our region and attract investment, to help expand our existing businesses and develop our key sectors, and to help build and attract the workforce needed for these key sectors and for our new and existing businesses to thrive”, said Ben Champoux, CEO of 3+ Corporation.

This public presentation at the Capitol Theatre was also the opportunity for the Board of Directors to announce the appointment of its new board members:

  • Lois Scott, Chair;

Another important change that occurred last June was the establishment of the Economic Leadership Council. The ELC was established to provide strategic guidance to the 3+ Corporation as it undertakes its important role as a catalyst for economic development in the tri-community of Dieppe, Moncton and Riverview.  Robert K. Irving, Chair of ELC, said they will work with the 3+ Corporation board by providing guidance and advice, as well as supporting them in their important role in this community. “Today is the beginning of a new journey where we are going to revitalize our region by coming together, overcoming any obstacle and meeting every challenge with confidence and a can-do attitude”, said Robert K. Irving. “Regional cooperation is the way we will succeed. This new brand speaks to this.  The three communities coming together – One Region, One Vision!  That’s our plus!” concluded Irving.
