Susy Campos named new CEO of 3+ Economic Development Corporation.
After an extensive recruitment process, the Board of Directors of 3+ Corporation is pleased to announce that well-known community and philanthropic leader Susy Campos will be taking over as permanent CEO for Greater Moncton’s economic development agency effective June 10, 2019.
“Susy has an extensive background in both municipal and economic development issues within Canada and the United States. A resident of the Greater Moncton area, she is a tireless contributor to the growth and wellbeing of the entire region through her active involvement in community and social enterprise organizations. She brings to her new position a commitment to tangible results that is best achieved through clarity of priorities, collaboration with her team and stakeholders, and a clear focus on desired outcomes. With the support of the three municipal governments, all strategic partners and community stakeholders, there is no doubt that the regional economic development agency will continue its positive impact on the Greater Moncton region,” said Martin Haynes, Chair of the Board of 3+ Corporation.

Their guiding vision and abiding desire to strengthen our regional economy as well as our communities has been nothing short of inspiring, and they truly went above and beyond in leading the organization and delivering meaningful results during this transition,” he continued.
Susy’s new role will find her working proactively alongside 3+’s Board and staff, the private sector leaders who make up 3+’s Strategic Partners, the three mayors, the three municipal economic development entities, and both the provincial and federal governments, as well as many other community stakeholders of the region’s long-term economic success.
Susy has proven herself to be a great ambassador for Greater Moncton, and has extensive experience in Strategy and Governance Advising, Program Development, Project Management, as well as in Fundraising and Philanthropy. She holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Université de Moncton and a Masters in International Relations and Political Theory from McMaster University in Ontario. Her professional career has brought her across North America, including in Ontario, Washington, and California. As well, she has served on over a dozen not-for-profit boards, including the John Howard Society, Headstart Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Moncton West & Riverview Rotary Club to name just a few.
