Luc Richard

As Regional Vice-President, Business Services at UNI since 2016, I’m here to support my team of corporate Account Managers. Serving businesses gets me directly involved in exciting projects that generate local jobs and help build our region in a very real way, which I enjoy because of my strong interest in the business community. The funding we provide is critical to the economic health of the area’s SMEs, which are our economic engine.

After earning my bachelor’s degree in geography, I went on to earn a law degree and then an MBA in 2003. I started working as an Account Manager at UNI and worked my way up to Regional Vice-President.

The past year has made me aware of the extraordinary resilience of people, especially entrepreneurs. We must support them and cultivate their ability to adapt.

In my opinion, UNI’s great strength is our excellent knowledge of the New Brunswick entrepreneurial experience. Well rooted in each community, the co-operative listens to the needs of its clients and always stands with the people of the region.

My hobbies:

When I’m not with my family, I play golf and enjoy participating in tournaments. I also play ball hockey regularly.
