Murray Simard

Born in Montreal, Canada, Murray grew up in Bathurst NB, the oldest of six children. Upon finishing high school, he moved to Moncton, NB and obtained an Electronics Engineering Technology diploma from NBCC Moncton.

After a 6 year career in field service and service management, Murray made the ambitious move to start his own business and on April 1st, 1989 “Dramis Electronics Ltd.” was incorporated.  After 32 years and a couple of name alterations, “Dramis Communications Solutions Ltd.” has evolved to become a business communications systems specialist, employing at its peak as many as 75 professionals, serving Atlantic Canadian businesses from 8 office locations throughout the Atlantic.  With head office located in Moncton, NB, Dramis provides services ranging from Structured cabling, Wireless, Telephony, Carrier products, networking, Security, access control, A/V, annunciation, nurse call, mass notification and more.  In 2020 Dramis made its most ambitious move yet to enter the ICAT (Information Communication and Automation Technology) market as the company emerges as a provider of intelligent and integrated building solutions, leveraging all of the company’s existing portfolio, now adding, intelligent lighting, and intelligent building design.  Dramis is a story that continues to be written
