Mario Caissie received his BBA in operations management from the Université de Moncton, and then went on to receive his MBA from Saint Mary’s University. He is a member of the internationally accredited honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma, recognizing the elite in the study of business and is also a member of the Young Presidents Organisation, which is a global network of young executives, and sits on its chapters board. Additionally, Mario has his executive certificate in real estate development from Mount Saint-Vincent University and has his ICD.D designation completing the ICD-Rotman’s Directors Education Program and was a member of the Wallace McCain Institute. He was recently the chair of the board of directors of Opportunities NB.
After finishing his studies abroad at the Aarhus School of Business in Denmark and graduating with his MBA at Saint Mary’s University, Mario held numerous positions at Imperial Manufacturing Group and became it’s President in 2012. During his tenure as an executive with IMG, he led the organization to unprecedented growth by more then doubling its revenues and bringing its workforce from 450 employees to over 1000.
After his successful tenure with IMG, Mario made a career transition and in 2016 became president of MACC Commercial Properties, a privately owned commercial real-estate company having properties in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Ontario. Under his leadership, the company doubled the size of its portfolio.
