Alain Parent
After a successful twenty-year career in the corporate world as Associate Vice President with a national insurance carrier, his passion to use his expertise to help entrepreneurs led him to form his own practice in 2017. Transparent Benefits, a group benefits consulting firm, was born to offer simplicity, flexibility and technology to employers and their employees to better manage disability, health and dental plans.
A University of Ottawa graduate (B. Comm, major in Marketing, Entrepreneurship), he also studied at the École supérieure de commerce de Rouen in France. He holds a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from the International Foundation and the Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He also earned the distinction of Fellow from the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists. Alain is licensed to practice in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec and Ontario.
As a father of five, Alain still has some time to give back to the community as Director of 3+ Corporation’ Board of Directors, Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Dieppe Rotary Club, Past Chair of 21inc and Past President of Expansion Dieppe.
